About Canopy Early Education

Canopy Early Education is a Queensland-based daycare and early learning provider. When they first partnered with Rocket, they operated a single location with big ambitions to grow. Fast forward six months - they’re now a multi-site provider, having acquired and integrated two additional centres under the Canopy brand. With no SEO foundation or tracking in place, we worked together to build their digital presence from the ground up.

Challenge

Canopy had the ambition and momentum to grow fast, but their digital foundation wasn’t yet built to support it. With no tracking, minimal backend access and no SEO history to speak of, their online presence was invisible to prospective parents searching for their services online.

To add to the complexity, they had just acquired two full centres and partial assets from another, each with existing domains and organic search performance that needed to be retained, migrated and enhanced. Solution

1. Scalable site structure

We built a clean, scalable site structure with dedicated ‘service’ pages for Canopy’s core offering and new location pages for each centre.

2. SEO migration strategy

We managed two full SEO migrations and one partial migration - consolidating legacy domains, preserving existing search equity and ensuring parents searching for previously independent centres found their way to Canopy.

3. Technical SEO foundation

We implemented new tracking and resolved technical issues to create a clean foundation for SEO growth.

4. Local content strategy

We launched an ongoing content strategy focused on blog topics that addressed the questions and needs of local parents, boosting local visibility and authority.

5. User-focused optimisation

All onsite optimisations were made with the user experience in mind, which played a big role in increasing trust and conversions.
