When Clifton partnered with Rocket, they were already generating solid lead volumes across Meta Ads and Google Ads, but quality was a focus area. In particular, Meta’s in-platform lead forms were producing high numbers without consistent follow-through to closed won.
Their Yamba resort needed a boost in brand awareness. And while campaigns were running across multiple channels, the Clifton team needed better CRM visibility into where their leads were coming from, so they could make more informed decisions around budget and performance.

We moved budget away from Meta’s in-platform lead forms and directed traffic to Clifton’s website instead, generating more informed and engaged users at the point of enquiry.
We restructured Google and Meta campaigns to improve audience flow across prospecting, traffic, retargeting and conversion stages. Specific campaigns were introduced for competitor terms, location-based queries and other audience pain-points to improve efficiency.
Through continuous testing, we found the perfect copy length that drove higher conversions. We also tested animations vs static creatives and multiple messaging angles to drive engagement of the highest-quallity audience. Budgets were reallocated toward the best-performing variations.
We launched geo-targeted search campaigns, layered in YouTube Ads for upper funnel impact and scaled investment in high-intent queries while excluding irrelevant locations.
With access to Clifton’s HubSpot CRM, we could finally track campaign performance through to closed deals, enabling smarter optimisation and giving Clifton clarity on true ROI.
